  • Delivery Surface

The surface may range from pavement or concrete, to packed gravel or grass. Please be aware that the surface must be firm enough for a heavy truck to drive over. Containers may be placed on grass, but there could be some impact at the delivery site.

The spot chosen must be fairly level with no more than a few inches of variation from front/back and side-to-side.

    Space Requirements

    • 10-Foot

10 foot containers require a minimum of 40 feet of clear space to deliver. This size is delivered on a smaller, manueverable straight truck and can usually fit into tighter spaces.

    • 20-foot

20 foot containers require a minimum of 50 feet of clear space to deliver. This size is delivered on a smaller, manueverable straight truck and can usually fit into tighter spaces.

    • 40-foot

      40-foot

40 foot containers require a minimum of 100 feet of clear space to deliver. This size is delivered using a large tractor-trailer (approx. 60′ long, almost twice as long as a dump truck). Caution must be taken to ensure that the roads leading to the delivery location can accommodate such a large vehicle. The truck makes wide turns, so the road and driveway must be wide enough to allow entry.

  • How Quickly Can a Storage Container Be Delivered After I Request a Quote?

Delivery timelines depend on container availability and your location, but many rentals can be scheduled within a few business days. Page Street Leasing coordinates delivery based on site access, placement needs, and your preferred timing to help avoid project delays.

Do I Need Permits or Approval to Place a Storage Container on My Property?

Permit requirements vary by town and zoning regulations. Residential driveways, commercial lots, and construction sites may have different rules. It is recommended to check with your local municipality or property manager before delivery. The Page Street Leasing team can help answer general questions during the planning process.

Can Storage Containers Be Placed on Uneven Ground or Gravel?

Storage containers can be placed on gravel, pavement, or compacted ground as long as the surface is stable and level. In some cases, simple site preparation or blocking may be recommended to ensure proper door operation and long-term stability.

Are The Containers Weatherproof and Secure Year-Round?

Storage containers are built from durable steel and designed to withstand New England weather, including rain, snow, and wind. They are lockable and provide strong protection for tools, equipment, and materials throughout all seasons.

Can I Access My Container Anytime During the Rental?

Once delivered, the container is yours to access as needed. There are no shared spaces or restricted access hours, making it easy to retrieve tools or materials on your schedule.

What Happens If I Need a Different Size Container Later?

If your project needs change, you can request to upgrade or swap container sizes based on availability. This flexibility is helpful for projects that expand, shift phases, or require additional storage over time.

Are Storage Containers Suitable for Both Residential and Commercial Use?

Storage containers are commonly used for home renovations, moves, cleanouts, construction sites, retail inventory storage, and industrial applications. The right size and placement depend on how you plan to use the container.

Can Containers Be Relocated After Delivery?

Containers can be relocated if your project needs change. Relocation services can be scheduled through Page Street Leasing to ensure the move is handled safely and properly.

What Is Included in the Monthly Rental Cost?

Monthly rental typically covers use of the container for the rental period. Delivery, pickup, or relocation services may be billed separately depending on location and service scope. A detailed quote outlines all costs upfront.

How Do I Know Which Container Size Is Right for My Project?

Choosing the right size depends on what you are storing, how often you need access, and how much space is available onsite. Storage professionals at Page Street Leasing can help recommend the best option based on your needs.

What Happens When I Am Done with My Rental?

When your project is complete, notify Page Street Leasing and billing will stop. Pickup will be scheduled at a convenient time, and there are no long-term commitments required for month-to-month rentals.
