  • Delivery Surface

The surface may range from pavement or concrete, to packed gravel or grass. Please be aware that the surface must be firm enough for a heavy truck to drive over. Containers may be placed on grass, but there could be some impact at the delivery site.

The spot chosen must be fairly level with no more than a few inches of variation from front/back and side-to-side.

    Space Requirements

    • 10-Foot

10 foot containers require a minimum of 40 feet of clear space to deliver. This size is delivered on a smaller, manueverable straight truck and can usually fit into tighter spaces.

    • 20-foot

20 foot containers require a minimum of 50 feet of clear space to deliver. This size is delivered on a smaller, manueverable straight truck and can usually fit into tighter spaces.

    • 40-foot

      40-foot

40 foot containers require a minimum of 100 feet of clear space to deliver. This size is delivered using a large tractor-trailer (approx. 60′ long, almost twice as long as a dump truck). Caution must be taken to ensure that the roads leading to the delivery location can accommodate such a large vehicle. The truck makes wide turns, so the road and driveway must be wide enough to allow entry.

  • How do you bill?

Rentals are billed monthly, on the day you receive delivery (ex: September 6th delivery would mean a monthly bill on the 6th of each month). The first bill consists of the delivery charge, pickup charge, and the first month’s rental amount. We do not bill on a 28-day cycle.

Is there a minimum or maximum rental period?

No, you can have the container for as little or as long as you like; they are month-to-month. The invoices are billed for the whole month and not prorated, so the minimum charge is for a month, but you may have it for a shorter period.

    Are the containers wind/water/rodent tight?

Yes, our containers are weatherproof and leave our facility free of any leaks. Rubber gasket seals are on the container doors to ensure a tight barrier against anything entering the container, including rodents and insects.

    Are they ventilated?

Yes, our containers have covered vents on the sides. The newer, residential fleet containers have more such vents. For applications requiring more vents, please let us know and we’d be happy to accommodate.
